The Fania All Stars were a group of salsa musicians famous for their shows in New York. I grew up listening to them since they were from my parents time.

I created a three part poster series representing the musicians as if they were having a show today, while still honoring the era they performed in the 60’s. I hand illustrated some of their most prominent performers and translated them into vector drawings. I wanted to give them a block print feel so i kept them with one solid color.

The posters would be placed in all around New York where the concert first took place.
